I joined a group of women at the park in Gaza today. حديقة في غزة
The common bond between them all is that they volunteer with an organization that offers well-baby checks and advice to families with young children about healthcare and nutrition. There is no money to pay them, but I have the impression that they all do it for the love of children. The director of the program says there is no other program like it in Gaza, and perhaps the West Bank.
Here are some of the kids I met. They were very curious about the old lady wearing the baseball cap.
